We are proud to introduce you to Tyler. Tyler was a Student Intern with Progressive Dental.
Tyler graduated from LeMoyne College in 2003 and the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine in 2007, completing his General Practice Residency in 2008.
Tyler married his college sweetheart, Maryellen and they have a 6-year-old daughter named Ainsley and a 3-year-old son named Beckett. He enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, and exercise. Tyler is a board member of the Greater Strathmore neighborhood association, a board member of the Strathmore Parks Run and is involved with the Art on the Porches art festival.
Currently, Tyler is a partner at Downtown Dental Syracuse and provides treatment for all facets of dentistry. Unique features of Tyler’s practice include CAD-CAM crown and bridge, CAD-CAM and CT integrated guided implants, laser-assisted non-surgical periodontal therapy, and orthodontics ranging from palatal expansion cases to simple Invisalign cases.
What Tyler enjoys most about dentistry is the relationships built with patients. “They become more than just patients to us and us more than just a health care provider to them. It is especially gratifying when we can build trust with a dental phobic patient who has had bad prior experiences and get them to a point where they “breakthrough” that phobia and enjoy coming in to see us”.
