For over 25 years, Progressive Dental has brought the most modern dental tools and procedures to patients across the region. From volunteering with local non-profits to coordinating initiatives to provide dental care for those in need throughout the Southern Tier and Northeastern Pennsylvania, all five offices actively participate in the communities they serve. This year, the team at Progressive Dental is taking a step further in supporting the community by unveiling its unique and modern take on dental coverage with the Progressive Dental Smile Plan.  

The Progressive Dental Smile Plan was created to offset the increasing cost of dental insurance and ensure members of the community receive the care they need. The plan allows patients to receive regular dental care for one flat rate, removing all deductibles, waiting periods, and pre-authorization. For one yearly membership fee of $300 ($400 for new patients during the first year), patients will receive the following:

  • Periodic Exams (two per year)
  • A Limited Exam (one per year)
  • Prophy (cleaning) (two per year)
  • At the recommendation of the dentist:
      • A Full Mouth Series
      • Bitewings
      • Periapical (1st film)
      • Fluoride (age 15 and under)
  • Discount of 15% off of all additional dental procedures (10% if paying with a credit card or other financing)
  • Children ages 15 and under receive the same coverage for a fee of $275.

This plan is structured to replace insurance, so it cannot be combined with any other coverage. Coverage begins on January 1st of each year and membership is not prorated. As this plan is structured to care for each member of the family, each membership pertains to one individual.

With patients’ needs in mind, Progressive Dental will also offer a Periodontal Maintenance Plan that will cover regular and specialized care to manage their dental health. For a yearly fee of $750, the Periodontal Maintenance Plan covers four periodontal maintenance procedures, two periodic exams, x-rays prescribed by the dentist, and a 32-ounce bottle of Oracare. The program also offers 15 percent off of Periodontal deep cleanings and general dental services.
