Progressive Dental was thrilled to present to thousands of students during February’s National Dental Health Month. The goal was to raise awareness about the importance of good oral health, and teach children healthy habits. Several of our staff members went to forty different schools surrounding our five offices. (Endwell, Kirkwood, Norwich, Montrose and Binghamton) This year, 5020 students actively took part in the presentations. Our staff shared songs, read stories, played trivia games and demonstrated the correct way to floss and brush your teeth. Every child was given a dental bag to take home with a new toothbrush, toothpaste and floss. Sometimes an impact is not known instantly, but when a third grader told us we eliminated her fear of an upcoming dental appointment, we recognized the value of our involvement in the schools.
