On September 4th, the annual event “Taste of the Tier” was held at the Double Tree by Hilton. This event is held to raise money to fight cystic fibrosis and to recognize those who are working everyday to help raise awareness and money for the foundation.
Dr. Spera’s wife, Angela, has been an organizer for the event for five years now. For the Spera family, the cause hits close to home… their son has a form of cystic fibrosis. Cystic fibrosis (CF) is a life-threatening genetic disease that primarily affects the lungs and digestive system. According to the Cystic Fibrosis, an estimated 30,000 children and adults in the United States have CF.
The event was a great success, with 250+ signing up and more showing up at the door. One of our employees, Theresa Tuttle, was also at the event to represent her family’s business, Social on State. There was a variety of tastes and flavors to support the common goal of finding a cure for cystic fibrosis.
Bravo to all who contributed… especially to our Progressive Dental family– Angela Spera for organizing and Theresa Tuttle for contributing!!!!
