Meet Lisa, our Office Manager. She joined Progressive Dental in 1997, and became Office Manager in 2000. She keeps things running by traveling between our 5 locations overseeing HR situations, policy issues and office efficiency. While not at work, she enjoys her pets, and early mornings especially before the sun is up!
Dogs or cats? I have one dog, chocolate lab her name is Zoey. I do have two female ferrets, Atiffany and Snowflake.
Whats your favorite part of your day? Mornings, especially when I get to watch the sunrise or to be outside when the sun is coming up. I love nature and anything that goes along with it.
Best part of your community? I live in a small community, which is nice for my boys. My boys and I do a lot of 5Ks for different organizations. We have participated in ones for the Southern Tier Aids Projects, Wounded Warriors, Breast Cancer and various other organizations and or benefits. I want them to see that people can make a difference in small communities.
Last concert/ band you saw? Country all the way…Trace Atkins, Jason Alden and Billy Currington was my last concert!!
Guilty Pleasure? Barbeque Middlesworth potato chips – It is a PA thing!!
What makes you laugh? My boys, they both have such great personalities.
What is your best advice for patients? Do not neglect your teeth. We are here to help you, not preach to you. I try to explain to patients that preventative care is the key to not needing extensive treatment down the road. I try to explain x-rays not not “a racket or money maker”. I ask patients would you put a new house on a foundations that has not been inspected? Doing treatment on teeth that have not been x-rayed or examined is not the proper way to proceed with treatment. Patients want to be talked to, not talked at. It does make a difference.
Where would you vacation? Anywhere…I am not picky. I am not a big beach person…I love the mountains.
Favorite Quote? Under promise, over deliver. Forward we go…not back.
