We have an opportunity to collaborate with a local organization to help children with medical issues. I’m sure you’ve seen the TV shows where they go in and makeover a room or sometimes an entire house for a sick child or family, right? Well, this is very similar but on a smaller scale and it benefits children right in our community. The group responsible for organizing these room makeovers is called “A Room to Heal.” This is strictly a VOLUNTEER organization and they rely on donations from our community to help these children in need. They have one BIG fundraiser at the beginning of every year. It’s called the “Hearts for Hope” benefit. It will be on 1/17/20 from 6:30-9:30 and we will be sponsoring a “wagon” full of goodies. Our marketing team decided to do a “Kalahari Getaway” theme for the wagon raffle. Some of us will also be attending the event and volunteering our time. Last year the wagon was a wine theme and brought in over $1000 for their organization. We have a feeling our wagon will break that record!
