Progressive Dental has grown to represent the most modern, expert practices in dentistry.
On the basis of Progressive Dental’s mission of strengthening the community’s smiles, Dr. Spera shared, “An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of care. Don’t put off regular dental care, in the end it will save you time, money and discomfort.”
Throughout the past 25 years, Dr. Sonny Spera, his fellow Progressive Dental physicians and the staff at all five locations, have also dedicated time and energy to community-focused initiatives and charitable events. In September, Progressive Dental completed its 21st annual Doctors with a Heart Day, which brought together 66 volunteers to provide over $65,000 in dental procedures to local men, women and children in need. Next year’s participation is expected to mark over $1 million donated during the practices years of participation!
Other charitable events featuring Progressive Dental’s staff members and dentists include the Oral Cancer Walk, Relay for Life and local fundraising initiatives such as the Susquehanna County Literacy Program, Maine Endwell Dollars for Scholars, Student Veterans of America. The Progressive Dental Community Scholarship offers the practice the opportunity to help scholars in the area and many staff members are involved in Broome County organizations such as the Council of Churches and the United Way, as well as many nationally recognized charities including the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
Focusing on early intervention and preventative dentistry, all five locations pride themselves on providing the highest quality of dental services available. With a dedication to relieving pain, listening to patient’s chief concerns, referring patients to specialists whenever necessary and offering access to an on-call doctor at all times, Dr. Sonny Spera and his team look to the future of another 25 years of quality dentistry.
