Dr. Redmore enjoys being able to help those who need it including veterans in her community, and teenagers with their orthodontic care.  A lover of the arts and classical music, she offers some insight on to some of her favorite things.

Guilty pleasure – I’ve recently discovered chocolate covered figs. I hide them and I don’t share them that’s how good they are.

Favorite pizza topping – I don’t love pizza, but a mushroom slice from Mario’s in Vestal brings me back to my Binghamton University days.

Best thing to do in the community – I love to explore the many local eateries and shops. There are wonderful local and regional theater companies. In the summer there is nothing like a concert under the stars at the Anderson Center at my alma mater Binghamton University. They attract world class performers year round.

Favorite quote – You are never too old or too young to take great care of your teeth.

Advice to students – Study what you love , don’t be shy about asking for help after class or during office hours. If you don’t ask for help teachers assume you understand everything.

Favorite TV or Movie – I like old movies – Alfred Hitchcock, and I’ve been known to binge watch House of Cards after the kids are in bed, Mad Men, Band of Brothers, Downton Abbey. Hugo is a great family film, beautiful to watch, I’ve seen in at least 20 times, and anything with Meryl Streep, I just saw the Iron Lady- she is incredible.

Last Concert you went to / Favorite type of music – We saw the Vienna Boys Choir at the Forum which was amazing and not too long ago Pink Martini. Last Spring we enjoyed the Binghamton Philharmonic’s Centennial Sinatra. The most memorable concert I’ve ever been to was the Grateful Dead live at Rich Stadium in Buffalo. It’s not my kind of music but they sure knew how to put on a show.

Favorite band – The Blue Vipers of Brooklyn I love their album Goodnight Harry. I heard them play in Central Park. You can’t help but smile and tap your feet when you listen to them.

Favorite part of dentistry- I like working with teenagers and I see plenty of them for ortho. That’s usually my favorite part of my day. I’ve been lucky to participate in a program with the Veteran’s Administration treating local veteran’s. I like people and I like helping people in pain, taking care of and getting to know them. I feel fortunate to have met so many people that make me feel like part of their family!
