“ENDWELL, N.Y. – Progressive Dental is offering free dental care to the community, no questions asked. Doctors With A Heart Day is September 21st. Progressive has been participating in the event for the past 23 years.
Care will be given on a first come first serve basis from 8 am to 12 pm at four of the Progressive offices. The Endwell, Kirkwood, Norwich, and Montrose locations will be open.
Dr. Marcus Spera says the need for free dental care in our area is immense and the offices see a few hundred people come through on Doctors With A Heart Day every year.
“There aren’t as many Medicaid providers in the area, so we try to do our part to help out those who maybe came on tough times or just lost their job or are in between jobs… people who just can’t afford expensive dental treatment. Which it is,” says Spera.
Spera says they’ve given away over a million dollars worth of dental care over the years. They can do anything that can be done in a day.”
